Leveraging Deep Neural Fields for Navigation of Middle Ear Diagnostics

Current diagnostics for middle ear infection with Otoscopy only cover single aspects of the
pathology. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) provides a comprehensive investigation of both the
morphology and the function of the middle ear. However, the interpretation of OCT volumetric data
remains difficult up to now. Hence, a substantial improvement is anticipated in merging OCT images
and volumes with a priori knowledge.
Super resolution is to reconstruct a high resolutoin image from low resolutoin image.
Traditional method is interpolation. Here we implement a convolutional neural network proposed by
Dong et al to realize the super resolution with better quality.
Mixed Intra Layer CNN Quantization for CIM Architectures

Deep Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have proven SOTA performance in computer vision
tasks, but they require high computation resources, which makes it harder to deploy on hardware.
Quantization is a common way to reduce the demand on hardware capability. This project presents that
layer-by-layer mixed precision quantizaton for both weights and activations with respect to their
sensitivity, enables signification reduction in the number of MAC operations and memory footprint,
while maintaining a close level of accuracy compared
to full precision level.
